4 Days Tour From Marrakesh To Fes Via Merzouga Desert Overview

This 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert is a great way to explore this very beautiful country for the first time, taking in its bustling old towns, its beautiful desert areas, and enjoying the local Moroccan cuisine.

The desert and kasbah trip begins and ends in the bustling city of Marrakesh, but focuses on the beautiful mountain and desert scenery of Morocco. After leaving Marrakesh, we cross the Atlas Mountains through the high Tizi n Tichka pass before descending through the hills to the desert plains around Ouarzazate. We will then return to the hills to the oasis of Skoura, the Valley of Roses, and the Valley of DADES.

The tour then heads out to the edge of the Sahara Desert at Merzouga, where you can take an optional sunrise camel ride amongst the spectacular sand dunes. You can also spend the night here in a comfortable Berber Merzouga luxury desert camp next to the dunes.

Another journey down the changing route leads us through some Berber villages to the remote city of Fez, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains with cedar forests. Visit the winter ski resort of Ifrane and the Berber village of Azrou.
