Itinerary Of 2 Days Tour From Marrakesh To Merzouga Desert:

Day 1: Marrakesh -> Atlas Mountains -> Kasbahs -> Toudgha Gorges -> Merzouga:

You will continue your two-day travel from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, a former French military outpost in the country’s meridional region, after visiting this museum. Rich in agricultural production, it is renowned for the finer details in its palm trees, rosebushes, and henna plants that line its banks. Several film directors rely on it as a mainstay. A substantial breakfast will be served when you return to your camp after witnessing the sun’s first golden rays touch the tan desert dunes.

 Next, leaving the desert behind, you’ll start your 2-day excursion from Marrakech to the Merzouga Desert in the direction of Rissani, a palace built in the 17th century that gained fame before the Alawite dynasty came to power. You may hear the fascinating tale of its former residents’ disgraced members on the adjacent ruins of Abbar Palace. of the Alawi family who were exiled to live here and almost abandoned, just as the city was. 

As you return to Marrakech, you will pass through many regions known for their henna farming. In the oasis of 45 Kasbah, you will stop for a traditional meal. Eventually, the route connects to the Draa valley, Morocco’s largest river, a vast expanse of green dotted with pink mud cottages and date palms. You will keep exploring the Atlas Mountains’ interior and the Black Canyon after leaving the palm grove.
